First Night Monterey is an Annual New Years Eve Festival, celebrating the arts.

This year’s theme, Color the Night, celebrates creativity, joy, imagination, and the power of the arts to bring our community together. First Night Monterey is a family-friendly, alcohol-free celebration featuring performances, art activities, cultural traditions, and creative experiences throughout downtown Monterey.

In this design, I wanted to embody the appreciation of art, and the colors that come with it. Using instruments and the main symbol of the night, the moon, I showed the colorfulness that art can bring to the world.
